Enrollment

ENROLLMENT GUIDELINES

Parents wishing their child to attend Wilshire Crest Elementary are required to live within the school’s attendance area. If you are not sure if you live in our attendance area, you may go to LAUSD’s School Finder to check your address. All addresses will be verified prior to enrolling students.

After verifying that your address is within the school’s attendance area you may complete an enrollment application. Currently enrollment applications are being completed online through Unified Enrollment.  Please access the TK-5thgrade Enrollment tab to your left.

If after verifying your address you find that we are not your school of residence, you may still enroll at Wilshire Crest through the following ways:

·      Open Enrollment Grades (TK, K, 1st and 5th)

·      Intra-District Permit

·      Apply for the Dual Language Spanish Immersion Program (TK-4TH)

OPEN ENROLLMENT

Our school currently offers Open Enrollment. This process is a state mandate allowing students anywhere in LAUSD to apply to any regular, grade-appropriate Los Angeles public school with designated open enrollment seats. Parents or guardians who want to enroll their child at a school other than their current school of attendance must complete an open enrollment application.

K-12 Open Enrollment

Once application is completed families must log in to the parent registration website in order to accept or decline their placements.
